University of Sunderland 2nds netball team have three wins in their opening six matches and new captain Mildred Christianne states she is happy with the attitude of her side.
A determined performance from the 2nds ensured they ended a winless streak in their final game before the winter break as they secured their third win of the season away at Teesside, and Christianne was delighted with the attitude of her players.
“They display great attitude by their willingness to learn during practice and applying it during the games,” said the captain.
“Everyone gives each other support so it helps us improve and play as a team.”
The Wearsiders return to action on February 1, 2017, and the 20-year-old is hopeful that her side can build on their latest win.
Christianne said: “As long as the team plays their best, I believe the team will perform great next semester.
“Also, our goal difference needs to be reduced, and I believe with the full team’s potential, we will be able to do that.”
