John Butler scored two goals for the second game in a row as Sunderland West End eased to victory over Silksworth CW in a Wearside Football League.

Already in the 2nd minute, the visitors took the lead after Butler reacted first to the ball and hit it straight into the back of the net.

Just before the halftime, it was Robert Hall who doubled the West End lead after scoring from the free kick.

Butler added his second in the 70th minute when a gap opened up inside the box and he took the opportunity of that to place the ball past the keeper.

This was a fifth win in a row in a League for Anthony Nelson’s team who next face Redcar Athletic on home ground this Saturday at 2 pm.
