Seaham RUFC’s last game of the 2014/15 campaign takes the Harbour to Sedgefield this weekend, where the visiting side will be looking to repeat their fortunes of the last time these two sides met.

In their last game, Seaham drove home a 44-8 victory over the visiting Sedgefield.

Despite being without key figures in the side, such as John Dye, John Dixon, Jonny Martin and Grant Westwick, Seaham held Sedgefield off and put in a strong defensive effort.

Sedgefield found it difficult to hold off Seaham’s pressing with scrums being overturned and could not find a way to get more points on the scoreboard.

Saturday’s match is Seaham’s last game of the current campaign and they currently boast a solid 11 wins out of 22 games. A win for Seaham would see them go out on a high note and bode well for the start of the next season.

Kick off is at 3PM at Sedgefield Cricket Club.
