Sunderland Ladies goalkeeper Rachael Laws has been called up to the England Women’s squad for their upcoming European Championship qualifiers.

Following an injury to Liverpool’s Siobhan Chamberlain, Laws has been brought into Mark Sampson’s squad after a fine start to the season.

Laws has conceded only once in her three starts for Sunderland this season, and will be hopeful of representing her nation in these upcoming qualifiers.

The Lionesses face Belgium at Rotherham’s New York Stadium on Friday April 8 before travelling to Bosnia on Tuesday April 12.
