Boldon CA will aim to capitalise on their home advantage as they take on Richmond Town this Saturday in the quarter final of the Monkwearmouth charity cup.

CA manager Paul Mossa is expecting his side to book their place in the semi final following some excellent form which has seen Boldon lose just one of their last seven matches.

Saturday’s cup tie comes on the back of Boldon’s hard earned 2-2 away draw to title contenders Cleator Moor Celtic.

Team news:

Boldon manager Mossa was delighted to announce that this is the first time this season that most of the first team is available for selection.

Captain Adam Henson is available for selection following work commitments that ruled him out of the previous match and Shaun Graham is back following his recent suspension.

A late fitness test will be needed for Adam Sharp due to a knee injury, although Mossa remains confident the midfielder will be available for Saturday.

The Boldon CA manager said: “I am looking forward to Saturday’s cup game since we have only lost one game in the last seven.”

“I respect Richmond, but I would be gutted to lose,” Mossa continued.

Boldon’s cup tie against Richmond Town kicks off at 2pm at the Boldon Villa.
