Sunderland Ladies striker Beth Mead has been nominated for two PFA Awards after her fine form in 2015.

The England U23 international, who was top-scorer with 12 goals in FA WSL 1 last season, has been nominated for Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year.

She picked up WSL1 Players’ Player of the Year and Vauxhall England Young Player of the Year at the end of 2015 and will be looking to add these accolades this season.

Mead is up against Chelsea’s Hannah Blundell, Danielle Carter of Arsenal and Manchester City duo Kiera Walsh and Nikita Parris.
