Saturday sees Seaham RUFC play host to Prudhoe and Stockfield in a game in which the Harbour will be looking to win if they are to keep pushing for a promotion place.

This is the second time these sides have met this season and in their last encounter it was Seaham who emerged victorious in a hard-fought game where the score ended 13-19.

Seaham took the lead thanks to a brace of tries from Barry Morton and later increased their lead thanks to prop Michael Flowers. The hosts were unable to get back into the game despite scoring late bonus points and Seaham took home the four points.

The Harbour will be hoping for a repeat of this result after losing their last game in the league to Whitby 43-10. But Prudhoe and Stocksfield will also be looking to right the wrongs of their last league game after they lost to Newton Aycliffe 31-10.

With both teams needing a win soon the game should be a heated affair with neither side wanting to concede early on.

The game will kick off at 2:15pm at Seaham.
