Easington Colliery host a top-of-table clash with Stockton Town tonight in what looks set to be a thrilling encounter. 

Both Easington and Stockton are on 18 points from six games, and the winner will be top of the league as second-placed Whitehaven do not play until Saturday.

Stockton have scored 31 goals so far this season, while Easington have notched 24.wearside-league

Fourth-placed Silksworth are three points behind the leading pack and travel to Gateshead Leam Rangers tonight, where they will look to build on their fantastic 6-2 win over Richmond Town at the weekend.

Seven other mid-week fixtures are being held, with the two basement sides in the League – Prudhoe Town and Wolviston – both playing at home against Sunderland West End and Richmond Town respectively.

Cleator Moor, who have made up ground on the top four and are now level on points with Silksworth, face Annfield Plain this evening.

Elsewhere, Hartlepool FC host Boldon CA, Redcar Athletic travel to Seaton Carew, Ashbrooke Belford House face Spennymoor Town Reserves and Harton and Westoe play Horden CW.
