Hebburn Town remained top of the TWR Bi Folds Wearside League after they edged out South Shields in a seven-goal thriller.

Goals from David Graham, Logan and Ali Aleagha weren’t enough for the Mariners, who stay 13th.

Cleator Moor Celtic stayed two points behind Hebburn with a 3-2 away win at Hartlepool.

Celtic led at the break following Darren Johnston’ goal.

Windscale remain at the foot of the table after a narrow defeat at home to Richmond Town.

But Richmond replied 10 minutes after the score hit 2-2 to regain the lead once more as Scott Ryan netted the eventual winner.
