Preview: Premier League Darts Night 10 – Brighton

Gerwyn Price looks to record back-to-back nightly wins as the Premier League of Darts heads to the South Coast.

Match 1: Luke Humphries vs Jonny Clayton

Luke Humphries meets Jonny Clayton for the fourth time in the competition. Cool Hand won the latest tie in Dublin as well as the final of a European Tour event.

The Ferret hasn’t picked up any points since his nightly win in Nottingham and currently sits third in the table. Humphries sits in sixth just two points off fourth.

My prediction: Luke Humphries 6-4 Jonny Clayton

Match 2: Gerwyn Price vs Josh Rock

The Welshman takes on bottom of the pile Josh Rock in the quarter finals. Price beat Rock just three weeks ago with a whitewash victory in Dublin.

The Northern Ireland star has won his last two quarter finals beating Clayton on both occasions but is yet to make a final.

My prediction: Gerwyn Price 6-2 Josh Rock

Match 3: Luke Littler vs Stephen Bunting

Luke Littler takes on Stephen Bunting as he looks to get back to winning ways and extend his lead at the top of the table. The Nuke suffered an opening tie defeat on home soil last week to Gian van Veen.

The Bullet sits on nine points and despite being seventh in the standings is just four points off the top four with a lot still to play for.

My prediction: Luke Littler 6-3 Stephen Bunting

Match 4: Michael van Gerwen vs Gian van Veen

Michael Van Gerwen faces van Veen in an all-Dutch tie. Van Veen reached his fourth final last week but is still yet to pick up a nightly win. The Green Machine lost his opener to Bunting in Manchester last time out.

The pair have met just the once in the Premier League which MVG won in the Newcastle final with van Veen pulling out of night seven through Illness. The world #4 currently holds the final play-off spot after nine weeks of action.

My prediction: Michael van Gerwen 4-6 Gian van Veen
