Match Preview: Newcastle Benfield vs Easington Colliery

Newcastle Benfield are hoping to return to winning ways as they face Easington Colliery in their final home game in the Northern League Division One. 

The Lions come into the game looking to make amends as they were knocked out of the Brooks Mileson Memorial League Cup at Birtley Town in midweek.

Easington currently find themselves in 10th place in the league, two places and six points ahead of Benfield. 

They’ve been on a mixed run of form as of late, winning two, losing two and drawing one in their last five games. 

A lot of their good work has been done at home this season, with the club currently winless in six on the road.
