Henry Vyvyan: “Just having fun in there” following his best performance to date over Ryan Shaw at Machine MMA 47.
Henry Vyvyan took on Ryan Shaw in an amateur MMA contest at Machine MMA 47 at The Fed, Gateshead in a title eliminator.
Vyvyan, now 7-0, was looking to make the best performance to date against the toughest fighter of his career thus far:
“Just having fun in there really. Like you say, I would say that was my best performance. Definitely the most fun I’ve had in a fight as well. Buzzing with that.”
Vyvyan trains out of Blaydon Grapplers in Newcastle and looks to continue the momentum now he has secured himself a title shot next time out on Machine MMA, but the undefeated prospect has another title fight lined up on Rise and Conquer:
“June 27th, I want to go again. That will be a title fight, against a top lad; hopefully we can get that one next. No injuries, I feel fresh, so straight into the next one. He’s the champ at the minute; I haven’t seen too much of him. I know he’s 6-0 as well. Looks like a solid boy; like you say, it would be a top scrap that one.”
Vyvyan rises to the occasion once again as he improved to 7-0 as an amateur mixed martial artist, showing all the capabilities to make it as a top amateur in his division. The prospect is going straight back into the fray against Adam Thomson on June 27th and is looking to add another feather to his cap.
