Back Of The Net charity match raised £2,000 for Washington Mind  

An influencer Tyne-and-Wear derby played at 1st Cloud Arena at South Shields raised £2,000 for local charity Washington Mind.  

The game finished 4-3 to the Newcastle side and saw some unbelievable goals from both sides. The game included YouTube stars Adam Pearson, Roobenstein and Matty from the Magpie Channel.  

The game was for a fantastic cause and donations were sent to Mind Washington. They are a local charity that provides well-being support for mental health.  

Dom Aberdeen, who is Head of Media at South Shields Football Club and played in the match said: “Although we lost, I was happy to be part of a good cause that raised money for charity.”  

Sunderland A.F.C captain Luke O’Nien was also in attendance at the game and helped with a half-time penalty shootout with a local youth side.
