Team Sunderland announce Elite Athletes for 2020-21

Team Sunderland have revealed the students on their Elite Athlete Scheme for 2020-21.

The athletes include GB Taekwondo star Cameron Park, Republic of Ireland youth international Cian Lee and 2020 BUCS gold medallist Sufie Kudien.

The Elite Athlete Scheme provides the chosen athletes with financial support as well as access to physiotherapy, nutritional advice and one to one strength & conditioning sessions with CitySpace Fitness staff.

Sport Development Officer Laura Hockaday said: “It’s great to be able to support our Elite Athlete’s again this year. We’ve been able to add some fantastic athletes to the scheme and I’m excited to see what they can do this year.”
