Will we ever see Rory Mcilroy win the Grand Slam?
This past weekend it was that time in the golfing calendar that all golf fans look forward to, it was indeed the Masters at Augusta National.
The significance of the tournament increased for one man who is Rory Mcilroy who was looking to become the fifth man to complete the career Grand Slam looking to add to his British Open, US Open and two USPGA Championships.
Unfortunately for him, this year didn’t go as a planned for the man from Northern Ireland who failed to make the cut shooting five over par for the two days missing the cut by two strokes.
This was Rory’s ninth time of asking trying to achieve what others like Jack Nicklaus and Tiger woods have managed to accomplish putting on the famous green jacket in the Butlers cabin by the previous winner.
Rory coming into the tournament was on good form finishing third in the match play in Austin two weeks before the trip to Georgia.
Another what might could have been for Mcilroy as he has to wait a year to do it all over again.
