F1 Launch Season 2024: Ferrari launch the SF-24
Ferrari has launched their 2024 challenger, the SF24, the car they hope to deliver their first title since Kimi Raikkonen won in 2007.
The car’s livery is relatively similar to what Ferrari ran in WEC with their 499P programme in that the yellow and white swooping lines make an appearance.
The only other changes to this year’s livery are the change of driver number font and the addition of Peroni as sponsors after they left Aston Martin and energy firm Celsius and sustainable packaging firm ECOPOL.
This year’s car is said to be 95% according to team principal Fred Vasseur. This is also Fred’s first year overseeing the complete development of the car, as he joined too late for 2023.
This launch did not give any technical notes which means we will have to wait until testing to see our first official glimpse of the changes the team has made for 2024.
This leaves us now with three more launches before testing next week in Mercedes, Mclaren and Red Bull
