Sunderland’s Futsal firsts will look to bounce back from two defeats from their opening two games against Sheffield Hallam this weekend.

Sunderland come into the game bottom of the Men’s Northern Tier 3 table meanwhile Sheffield sit top having won both their opening games.

When the two sides met last season they won one game a piece with Sunderland winning 6-4 at home before suffering a heavy 15-1 defeat away from home.

Player Phil Emerson has described the game as a “tough battle ahead” as both teams have won against each other in the past.
