Hebburn manager Kevin Bolam expecting “really tough game” at Guisborough tomorrow

Hebburn Town manager Kevin Bolam has said he expects a “really tough game” when his side travel to Guisborough tomorrow afternoon.

The Hornets come into the game second in the table and unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions.

Last time out, Hebburn were victorious in the Vase when they beat Vauxhall Motors away from home with a single goal from Olly Martin.

Guisborough on the other hand sit eighth in the table and are on an unbeaten run themselves of six games.

Their last game saw them beat Whitley Bay 2-0 with goals from Luke Nixon and Steven Roberts.

Ahead of the game, Bolam said: “It’ll be a really tough game. When we played them at home, they really impressed us.

“In fairness, I thought Guisborough would’ve been challenging a little bit more from what I’ve seen of them when we played them at our place.

“A good side, we’ll have to be at our best to get something from down there.”

Carl Taylor could return from illness, and there are no new injury concerns to report.

The game starts at 3pm at the King George V Ground tomorrow with entry £7 for adults, £4 for concessions and U12s free with a full paying adult.
