Bishop Auckland Vs Penrith Preview
The Northern Football League Management Committee have decided to do a new league cup for Division One.
Normally there would be the Brooks Mileson League Cup, for both divisions and the Earnest Armstrong Cup, just for Division Two clubs.
However due to the uncertainty of the pandemic and the weather affecting the league fixtures the competitions were suspended before the first-round matches.
Bishop Auckland are set to travel to Penrith, on Wednesday 2nd March, for their first-round game in the new cup.
Bishop have beaten Penrith in their two league games, winning 3-1 and 2-1.
Both teams are fighting against relegation as the uncertainty of how many are relegated continues.
The winners of this game will go on to the second round and will be away to Guisborough Town.
