Looking back at last term with Monkwearmouth FA…

Last term, needless to say, has been quite busy at Monkwearmouth Football Academy.

Year 7 made the quarter finals of the ESFA National Cup, they won the Sunderland Schools Futsal Competition and won most games they played.

And the year 8s joined the 7s… as well as the 9s and 10s by reaching the regional futsal final which will be hosted at the Beacon of Light on March 4th.

Year 9 inspired us with an Istanbul-esque comeback having come back from 3-0 down to secure a draw in the league while Year 10 won a Premier League Kicks tournament hosted by the Beacon.

Either way it’s been a hectic half-term with more to follow in the weeks ahead. But let’s take a moment to reflect on the last two months.
