What does future hold for Jadon Sancho?

Manchester United star, Jadon Sancho was left out of first team training as the Premier League edges closer to the restart.

After a drop of from for the English winger just before the national campaign in Qatar, it led to Sancho not being picked for the 26-man England squad.

Sancho only has three goals and one assist in 14 games (in all competitions) and is finding it difficult to compete with the class United have, including newly recruited Anthony dos Santos.

The 60-million-pound winger has shown his worth at previous club Borussia Dortmund by scoring 16 and assisting 20 goals in all competitions and is looking to bring that form to Manchester United in up-and-coming seasons.

Sancho was also not picked by Eric Ten Hag to play two club friendlies before the Premier League restart. Both games resulted in a loss for Man Utd, as they played Spanish sides, Real Betis and Cadiz.

Hag said: “he wasn’t fit enough to be there. It’s a combination of physically and mentally.”

He further added: “Sometimes there are circumstances with fitness and mood. Now he’s on a physical programme and our aim is to get him back as quickly as possible.”

Ten Hag also believes that “we got a drop of quality level and that happens sometimes. You don’t know what is causing it.”

Manchester United boss finalised by saying “now we try to get him back there.”
