Team Sunderland Women’s Volleyball win 3-1 at home against Leeds

The Women’s Volleyball team took a much deserved win against Leeds in the BUCS league.

The first set started with Leeds taking the lead, keeping a five point gap from Team Sunderland, The Wearsiders fought hard to make a come back but lost the first set 25:19.

Team Sunderland coach, Steven Skillbeck changed the rotation of the team which proved vital in the second set.

Team Capitan Aurora Rica, scored many of the points in the second set, this helped the team take the second set in the game 25:19.

After drawing level in sets Team Sunderland took over the match wining the third set 25:11 and taking the match set 25:15.

The win is the first for the ladies in the BUCS season.
