Hebburn Town’s Jack Robson hands in a transfer request
Hebburn Town winger Jack Robson has today handed in a transfer request.
The young Newcastle United academy graduate joined the Hornets in October 2018 and scored seven times in 24 appearances during his first season with the club.
This season, he’s scored one goal in 10 appearances and was a regular starter until recently.
In a statement, the club said they’d “reluctantly” accepted his request.
It read: “The club’s board have reluctantly accepted this request from a player that is a fans’ favourite and who we believe had a great future at the club as one of our upcoming younger talents.
“Although disappointing, we understand it’s part of football and we therefore would like to work with the player to get the best outcome for both the player and the club.
“All enquiries are to be made to first team manager Kevin Bolam.”
