Ex-Sunderland winger Lewis Morgan set to join Inter Miami
Ex- Sunderland winger Lewis Morgan looks set to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami in a £300,000 deal.
The Celtic winger, who made 17 league appearances for the Black Cats, is keen for more game time after making featuring sporadicly in Neil Lennon’s side.
Morgan, 23, signed on loan for Sunderland on deadline day in 2019, but struggled to make any meaningful impact, recording just one goal and four assists. He also started the League One playoff final loss to Charlton.
The new MLS side hope to have Morgan signature ahead of their league opener against FC Dallas on February 22.
