Roberts returns as Sunderland make two changes for visit of Birmingham City

Patrick Roberts and Edouard Michut return to Sunderland’s starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Birmingham City. 

Pierre Ekwah and Abdoullah Ba drop to the bench as Tony Mowbray makes two changes to his side that beat Cardiff City on Easter Monday. 

There is a place among the substitutes for defender Luke O’Nien as he returns to the matchday squad. Dan Ballard remains sidelined.  

Corry Evans, Aji Alese, Ross Stewart, Elliot Embleton and Jewison Bennette all miss out due to long-term injuries.
