Jayden White reflects on Whitley Warrior’s loss to Solihull Barons.

Jayden White said that the Warriors have “had a few off days” after they fell to their sixth loss in the last seven league games against the Solihull Barons.

Reacting to 5-9 loss against the Barons White said: “It’s just about lads working together, we just have to work hard in training,” before adding: “we’ve had a few off days, but we’ll get it right.”

With two goals coming after the puck changed trajectory from hitting referees, White admitted the Warriors were “unlucky” to have conceded those goals in the way they did. He added however: “you still have to play to your surroundings.”

With 13 days to prepare for the next league match against Leeds Knights, The Whitley player said they would “cut deep” and “train very hard every single day,” before saying: “We’ll win next week.”
