Team Sunderland: Extra incentive to be part of the University

“An extra incentive to be part of the university, something extra to do to get you out of the lecture rooms and out of the library.”

This is how Team Sunderland student engagement officer, Daniel Kendal describes Team Sunderland and what is has to offer students who get involved.

He further noted that all are welcome to join a sport or activity of their choice as the benefits go far beyond a fresh university perspective and have positive impacts on fitness as well as mental health.

Joining a sport within Team Sunderland also offers a unique opportunity to engage with fellow students from different courses and forge friendships that wouldn’t otherwise happen.
