Monkwearmouth 2-0 St Robert’s – Durham County Cup Semi-Final Highlights and Reaction

Monkwearmouth were 2-0 winners against St Robert’s to make the county cup final in what could be described as a hugely one-sided affair.

It was the first final in 18 years for Monkwearmouth, which shows the scale of the feat the team have achieved.

Goals from Jake Nesbitt and Mason Underwood sealed the match in either half for the academy. It’s fair to say that the difference in class was immeasurable and it certainly showed on the pitch.
