Josh “Pretty Boy” Kelly makes his long awaited return to the ring on Friday 13th May 2022 at The O2 in London. The Sunderland born fighter is set to face Italian fighter Xhuljo Vrenozi, with the fight to be broadcasted on Channel 5.

Kelly makes his return to the ring following a devastating TKO loss to David Avanesyan back in February last year, in which he was outclassed by the more experienced fighter.

Since his first loss, the 2016 Olympian took some time away from the ring. During this period he switched promoters, leaving Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing and signing with Sauerland brothers under their new ‘Wasserman Boxing‘ promotional banner. This follows as Matchroom Boxing were criticised by some fans for trying to rush Josh Kelly’s descent to the top of boxing.

Vrenozi, who fought on the Kelly vs Avanesyan undercard, will be a good test for Kelly with the Italian currently 18-4-0. However Kelly will look to surpass this hurdle and get his career back on track with a victory.
