Bishop Auckland Vs Seaham Red Star Preview
Bishop host Seaham Red Star this weekend at Heritage Park.
Their previous meeting was back in November, Seaham won 3-0.
Seaham sit 11th in the league whereas Bishop sit 19th.
Seaham have only lost 1 game out of their last 5.
Bishop held for a goalless draw against Newcastle Benfield at the weekend, however Seaham defeated Whickam 1-0.
Penrith won their midweek clash with Sunderland Ryhope CW, 2-0, taking them 17th and one-point behind Whitley Bay.
Meaning Bishop slip down to 19th and with no official statement from the FA on how many are going to be relegated Bishop still need to fight for points.
Northallerton were beaten in their midweek clash with Whickam, 3-1.
A win would have seen Northallerton go above Whitley Bay but instead they stay 18th and only one point ahead of Bishop.
Penrith are set to travel to West Auckland this weekend and Northallerton travel to Consett.
As well as the fight at the bottom end of the table there is an interesting turn of events at the top of the league.
North Shields latest win against Thornaby means they have overtaken Consett and are top of the league with three games in hand.
With several rumours flying about regarding relegation, teams do not know if they are safe, and no official statement has been made by the FA regarding the relegation matter since they released that things will be decided at the end of the season.
With Billingham not being able to get more than 31 points over their remaining games they are relegated and will play in Division Two next season.
All the best Billingham Town.
