Football Preview – Sunderland University vs Leeds
Sunderland Uni Men firsts host Leeds Men 3 in the penultimate game before the Christmas break this week.
Sunderland head into the game seeking their first win in 3 league games as they have hit a recent snag and lost thre in a row, manager James Clark will be hoping his team can turn the tide before the break and get a much-needed win as well as a morale boost.
Last week Sunderland lost to Durham in a game where they played well and may still feel aggrieved that they did not pick up at least a point in that game. They will be looking to take the positive performance from the second half into the game tomorrow. However, Sunderland will not have it easy as Leeds head into this game being top of the league leading the way by 3 points and go into the game full of confidence having won five out of five league games and will look to make it six in six to keep their good run of form going before the break.
James Clark will be without key man Lewis Charlton who was a big miss last week. He will look to key players such as Charis Saitakis and George Pinder with the former looking to carry on his good goalscoring run as he will look to make it three goals from as many games tomorrow to help the team change their fortunes and head into the break with a positive result.
