“A lot of the girls from the last few years have now finished at the university so we have a brand-new team this year but I’m excited to see where the season takes us!”

Evaluation and Expectations

When asked about her assessment of the team’s preparation, Willis remained:

“We have a completely new team this year, but I hope that we have a positive season with as many wins as possible! It will be great to see so many people involved in the team this year and enjoying playing competitive games!”

Reflecting on the past season, Willis said: “Last year was a tough season after being promoted into a higher league. However, with one of our key players getting injured prior to the season starting, we struggled to get a win in games.
