Team Sunderland support Rainbow Laces campaign

Team Sunderland are proud to announce that they will be supporting this year’s Rainbow Laces campaign.

Rainbow Laces is organised by Stonewall, Europe’s largest LGBTQ+ charity and this year the campaign turns 10 years old. In that time, over one million people have laced up to show that they believe sport should be everyone’s game.

Team Sunderland will be providing Rainbow Laces to all their clubs throughout the first week of December to help raise awareness of the campaign.

Team Sunderland Assistant Sport Development Manager Laura Hockaday said: “Our support of Rainbow Laces is part of Team Sunderland’s continued commitment to inclusivity within sport at the university, we’re very proud to support the campaign.”

Anybody wishing to collect a pair of Rainbow Laces can collect them from the Team Sunderland office on the ground floor of Edinburgh Building.
