Cu Chulainn’s GAA team look to make it three wins in a row

This Sunday in Killingworth playing fields, Cu Chulainn’s GAA take on St Vincent’s of Sheffield in the fourth round of the Yorkshire League.

Cu Chulainn’s had a strong performance last time out when they travelled down to Leeds to play Hugh O Neill’s beating them on a score line of 3-16 to 1-13 winning out comfortable winners by 9 points.

Their opponents on Sunday had a convincing win of their own in the last match beating St Benedicts Harps 1-15 to 1-1.

Cu Chulainn’s will look to improve on their league position as they currently sit third while St Vincent’s sit top on nine points, two clear of the Newcastle based club.

Cu Chulainn’s are hopeful of using home field as an advantage to them as they stay on Tyneside for their next two games before continuing the away fixtures with a trip to Sheffield in early June.

Throw in for the game in Newcastle is 1:30pm.
