Preview: Premier League Darts Night Three – Glasgow
The Premier League of Darts returns to Scotland for the 2026 campaign with Michael van Gerwen top of the pile on eight points after two nights.
Gerwyn Price stole the show in Antwerp last time out, overcoming Mighty Mike in the final to pick up all five points.
Match 1: Stephen Bunting vs Gian van Veen
Bunting remains winless despite leading 2-0 on Tyneside and 4-0 in Antwerp, losing six legs on the belt on both occasions.
The Bullet failed to pick up a single win until night nine last year, where he went on to win the night in Berlin.
The world #7 faces no easy task in the form of world #3 van Veen.
The Giant suffered a first-round defeat in Belgium, losing to eventual winner Price in a last-leg decider.
My prediction: Stephen Bunting 3-6 Gian van Veen
Match 2: Luke Humphries vs Josh Rock
Humphries takes on Rock in quarter-final two.
The pair have met on seven occasions with Humphries coming out on top with four wins to Rock’s three.
Rocky has failed to beat Cool Hand since 2024 and has lost the last three games.
The Northern Ireland sensation is still looking for his first Premier League win and lost both of his previous games 6-2.
Following defeat in Belgium, Rock apologised to his fans on social media, claiming he had no grip on his fingers.
Humphries also suffered defeat in Belgium, missing three match darts in a last-leg decider only to be punished by the World #1 Luke Littler.
My prediction: Luke Humphries 6- 2 Josh Rock
Match 3: Michael van Gerwen (withdraws) vs Luke Littler (Bye)
Luke Littler has progressed to the semi-finals of tonight’s event, after van Gerwen has had to withdraw due to a “medical issue”.
Match 4: Jonny Clayton vs Gerwyn Price
Match four sees another repeat of last week’s semi-final with an all-Welsh clash.
The Iceman has won the last 10 meetings with the Ferret, who has only won one in 17 against the world #11.
Jonny Clayton has won both of his quarter-finals so far in the tournament and will be looking to get one over his World Cup partner in Scotland.
After picking up the nightly win last week, Price will be looking to add to his tally to boost his chances for a spot in week 17, come May.
My prediction Jonny Clayton 3-6 Gerwyn Price
