Anthony Joshua looks to raise a sandstorm in Saudi Arabia and leave Andy Ruiz Jr in the dust on his mission to reclaim the titles he lost last June.

Joshua was stopped in the seventh round as Ruiz became the first Mexican heavyweight world champion.

And following the shock upset, the boxing world has been divided on how rematch is going to go, will Joshua regain his throne or will Ruiz once again triumph on the big stage?

Here SportsByte spoke to the North-East boxing community to see who they thought would win the highly anticipated rematch.

Savannah Marshall

“I am going to a [Anthony] Joshua points win in a cagey match.”

Phil Jeffries

“Joshua wins if his head is right after the last fight, but if [Andy] Ruiz clips him like the last fight then he will be off to sleep.”

Tony Jeffries

“My prediction for the Joshua Ruiz fight is for Joshua to win on points. I think he is going to go back to basics, boxing behind the jab.

“Obviously not going to rush in like he did last time when he hurt Ruiz, and not going to underestimate him like he did last time. I think we are going to see his real class and yeah, I think he is going to win the fight.

“He is going to go in there like what he is, a challenger, and he is going to dominate.”
