Alphonso Davies Running to Real Madrid
The Canadian International who has been at Bayern Munich since 2019 is set to be on the move to La Liga giants, Real Madrid.
With Real Madrid having a defensive injury list that seems to be never ending and with Lucas Vazquez’s contact running out in 2025 and Dani Carvajal’s contract expiring in 2026, Davies seems to be a must need for the Madristas.
Davies is well known in the footballing world for being one of the fastest players in modern day football, however has a history of muscle injuries particularly with his knee and hamstring.
However Davies’ agent Nedal Huoseh said: “Done deal with Real Madrid? This is not true.”
Further adding: “The player has many options, but we have not agreed terms with any club. A new deal with Bayern could also be an option.”
In the 2023-24 season Bayern had only lost six out of the 29 games Davies played in.
Vincent Kompany’s aim this season as the new Bayern Head Coach is to get ‘The Bavarians’ back to winning the Bundesliga. They came second with Bayer Leverkusen winning their first ever German league title last season.
It was the first time Bayern hadn’t won the Bundesliga after winning 11 successive league titles, and losing Davies won’t make the return to title glory any easier.
It would be a huge loss for Bayern if they were to lose Davies, however would be a great addition to Madrid’s super starting 11.
